About GetSpeakin
English vocabulary for Turkish schoolchildren. Built on one idea: a wrong answer isn't a lost point. It's information.
Why we built it
Every schoolchild in Türkiye studies English vocabulary. Most study it the same way: one list for everyone, a test, a grade. Nobody quite knows which words actually stuck.
GetSpeakin starts from the answers instead. A child who keeps picking chicken when the word is kitchen isn't failing. They're telling us exactly what to practise next. Seven games keep children playing; the engine underneath turns every answer into a living model of what each child knows and confuses.
We build for the whole classroom: children on phones and tablets, teachers on the smart board, parents at home. MEB aligned, fully bilingual, and designed so every child in the class can use it.
How we work
Answers, not scores
A score tells you how the test went. An answer tells you what to do next. We treat every tap as information and turn it into the next right practice.
Concrete, not abstract
We don't say “personalised learning outcomes”. We say “these 6 words are slipping, tonight's 12 minutes fixes it”. If a parent can't act on it, we rewrite it.
Every child in the class
Dyslexia-friendly type, four text sizes, colour-blind safe, screen-reader labelled, KVKK-aware. Care for the details is part of the product.
